Try Wine Spectator or Food and Wine. They all have a web-site to go with their magazines.
as a basic guide: white with light foods, fish and vegetarian and reds with meat .
but then you can throw this rule out and drink what you really like!

merlot is great with steak. chardonnay is mainly for fish pinot grigio is good for pasta fish or crab and lobster. cabernet would be good with lamb as well as the noir and the blanc would be fish also
