Today the Miss and I are celebrating 27 years together.  Moments like these are cause for some reflection and I’ve chosen, today, to allow myself the luxury.   I don’t consider myself an expert on marriage, and if I did, Miss wouldn’t allow that thought to linger.  She has been, and continues to be my best and most offensive truth teller.  Isn’t that a strange combination? As I look back over our years together they’ve been both bitter and sweet.  We have had many deep joys and frequent gut doubling laughs.

I know that some people would like to have both eating grapes and wine grapes at the same time. Yes you can. (5.10 PM) – It has been quite some time since I last updated my blog. Finally, after so many days of hustles and bustles, I finally had some quiet time to update my diary. My initial intention of blogging is to pen down some of my experiences and daily happenings that might strike a chord in my brain in the latter years. But as things evolve, I had to change my way of writing to a more interactive perspective. In the past, I used to write things that are personal, and I jot them down in a diary fashion.

Once again I am disillusioned with relationships. I just found out that a man I respect and admire greatly is, after all, just a man. Sigh.Said man has been married to my friend for ten years, and they have four beautiful babies, two boys and two girls. He lives in shags where he has a good job, while she lives in nai with the kids. They agreed on this because the kids can get access to better schools in Nai. It was a mutual decision, and he visits them whenever he can.

There is much talk out in the church world about the “emergent church”.     I am not an expert on the emergent church.  Its kind of confusing trying to pin down what it actually means.   There is not a clear and unified center of thought.
