Good bottle of Red Wine?

My boss loves red wine. What is a good bottle of red wine (Italian, French, etc.) that I can buy for about $ 100? It 's for the holidays. Not sure if it is served with food. Typically, he and his wife just relax on your TV with a nice bottle of red. Any help would be great.

With that budget- you should be able to find a great one.. even two. I woudl check the search site on …www.foodand wine.com , although the highest price catagory is $50.00 and over, you can search for reds by region, rating, price, and variety- or go to the gift guide where they offer suggestions for pairings such as the perfect wine and cheese gift.
Buy a 2003 Cabernet from Ehlers Estate if you can find it anywhere.
It’s very smooth with deep rich aroma and amazing cocoa flavor.

Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet
In that price range you will find a lot of excellent wines.
Look for some grand cru burgundy, or perhaps Stag’s Leap cabernet from Napa valley.
