Which wine should I bring to dinner?

I'm going to a small birthday dinner tonight, and don 't have anything to bring, so I thought I' d just bring a bottle of wine that I am homeless. I have a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. ¿(Are of the same brand, no assumption) that it would be more classy? And why, or what is the difference?

Sherry Wine

You didn’t say what the brand is, or if the recipients are wine drinkers so it doesn’t matter.

Chardonnay is the most popular wine, but Sauvignon blanc is nothing to sneeze at. Chill whichever you bring. I’d say bring the Sauvignon Blanc. Its very crisp and if its as hot where you are as it is here either white wine will be much easier going down than red.

i would go the sauvignon blanc. sauvignon blancs are far easier to drink and are becoming increasingly popular.
chardonay is too woody for many people

I don’t think one would be classier then the other, their are some very good Sauvignon blancs out there, but for the sake of the party I would probably bring the Chardonnay, because for the most part people that like to drink white wines like Chardonnay, while not all white wine drinkers are into Sauvignon Blanc. Have fun :)

The Chardonnay is the most common wine we sell at the restaurant I work at. It’s usually not too dry or too sweet, and it compliments a lot of different foods.

Take both. You don’t want to run out. Neither is a bad choice.
